Bolo Ball
The game requires a bit of strategy, but is simple enough to learn that a 4-5 year old will have fun playing it.I have enjoyed it periodically for 15 years, and still like it. Quality shareware, a game that has no violence, and it actually can promote a bit of forward thinking. I recommend this game.

Bolo is an excellent redesign of the classic Atari game by the same name. Billed as "a high resolution fantasy action adventure," Bolo is actually a fun action-oriented platformer similar to Bubble Ghost with some puzzle elements. Designed by the maker of Oxyd, Bolo includes many elements fans of that series will be familiar with, including an accurate physics model that underly many objects in the game (e.g. rubber bands, springs, magnets, and gravity) and sharp SVGA cartoon graphics. The game casts you as a cartoon hero who must venture into the castle of the Megaghost to vanquish evil. Over 50 levels, 52 different game elements, and a superb soundtrack round off this greatly underrated game that was more successful on the Mac than on PC. Two thumbs up, way up!
