Let's Meet On The Track
Does anyone of you enjoy the London olympic games? Well, I really don't watch, unless my home country is involved in one of the events. However, I seem to enjoy video games based on these games. There are a lot to choose from, most of them aren't that impressive. However, 3DO Games: Decathlon changes all of that. While other games somehow try to simulate the olympic games, this one tries to be an arcade style game and for me it worked. There are others that are very to comment on, like Knudde World Sports Tournament Remix. There are 3 game modes: Decathlon, which is somehow like a tournament mode, Track Meet, a single event type and Training which is self explanatory. While the running events sometimes feel like pure button mashing, the other events are most about pressing a certain button at the right time. At least, that's how I felt the controls were. Not to impressive, yet not so bad. The graphics are okay, but seem like it needs more work, but the sounds are okay. Overall, 3DO Games: Decathlon is an olympic video game that is worth your time.
