Veni, vidi, vinci

The Rise of Rome is actually an expansion pack of the best-selling real time strategy game Age of Empires. It is based on the Roman Empire and ans the Roman Empire and three other playable civilizations in the game (much like the game Pharaoh, which is about Egypt). The Rise of Rome features a new Roman architectural design, shared by all four new civilizations, the Romans, Palmyrans, Macedonians and Carthaginians. Four new researchable technologies have been also added. You now have five new units, four new random map types, and a larger map size option. There are also other little tweaks in the game, like balancing damage done by catapults, and the option to increase the population limit beyond 50. Also, an entire new music score was composed for this game. These new additions have made the game so much better than it was. The game has always been awesome, and now it's awesome in the Roman spirit. Fans will love the changes and new players will probably want to play this game rather than the original, since it has so many new features. The game has been, and maintained a perfection of strategy gaming.
