Anchorhead

Adventure 1998 Windows Michael S. Gentry Horror

Horror and adventure all the way

It is a gothic horror game which is actually horrifying because it can make you stick to your seat for hours. The nerve racing scenarios and the excellent atmosphere go with the theme perfectly and add to the suspense and the mysteries that need to be unfolded nit e game. You will be facing an evil force that is about to unleash in a mysterious town which is full of hidden surprises and secrets. It is the look of the game and the scenarios which give the game the feel that it should give. From a gamer's point of view, the set is very much open and you can explore almost everything that is there in the game. These objects are the in the form of obstacles and locked doors which lead to many secrets and interactions. The puzzles in the game are also well incorporated and they are well in line with the plot and the theme. I loved the fact they have kept the surprise and the horror element intact till the very end without making it childish. You will find really horrific things going on in the game and it is your duty to solve the dilemma. Another game which I know has the same horror feel and adventure is All Alone.
