Lots of innovations, lots of subtle changes
Championship Manager 2010 already benefits from all the modern amenities of actually using modern computing rigs, so praising the game for the graphical presentation seems a bit unnecessary, but I'll just say it, just as well: Championship Manager 2010 is absolutely amazing, graphically. And what I mean by that is that there is unity in each and every different screen that you'll browse through, the options that are most used are always but a click away and the entire game is set to offer you the most immediate gratification, the most immediate information, so you can play at your pace, be that a very fast one or a more laid back one. I did play a bit of the 2013 game, and I can definitely say that this 2010 version's main issue is the way the team math view looks, as some of the phases in the game look kind of fake, but then again, you don't need to look at these minigames, as the results will be calculated more speedier, through back processing. So, anyway, expect for this issue, navigating the game, controlling it and playing it is seamless, as satisfying as you can wish. Surely, this year's version has corrected even more issues, but if you crave the 2010 season, it's a heck of a good one, for sure. Alternatively, for a good oldschool version try this one, it really shows that CM has always been on the fringe of playability and innovation.
