Choose a side to Command and Conquer!

The Command & Conquer series has always been my personal favorite game series, including the only FPS that series had, Command & Conquer: Renegade. Tiberian Sun is probably my favorite game in the series, besides Tiberium Wars.In Tiberian Sun you can choose to play between GDI(Global Defense Initiative), the good guy in short or NOD, a global terrorist group, led by the one and only Kane, probably one of the most recognizable characters in video game history. There are two different stories in this game, one story per side. If you play as GDI, the story if about taking down NOD together with Kane, while as playing as NOD you do Kane's bidding. The cutscenes are the one that steal the show, where real actors play and this tradition of cutscenes have carried on to the very last Command & Command game, even in the Red Alert series. The gameplay is solid, each new mission in the campaign unlocks new units and technologies. Each side plays differently, helping to increase the replay value of the game. The skirmish/multiplayer modes are the most fun. Not only that you have all the strong units to win the match, but some other powerful weapons as well, such as the ION Cannon, which I had the most fun with. There is even an expansion pack, Command & Conquer: Firestorm, which brings new missions in the campaign and new units and weapons. All in all, if you're a RTS nut, consider owning both Tiberian Sun and Firestorm. It's one of the games that succeeded the test of time.
