Classic Deathtrack game remake!
Death Track: Resurrection is an arcade style racing game developed by SkyFallen Entertainment and published by 1C Company. It is the sequel to the 1989 Deathtrack game
. Resurrection feels more like a remake or reboot, but for me it was a welcome remake. In the game, you take part in races, but the road to victory does not lie in the tactic of overtaking your enemies. You need to use your car's weapons system to shoot down and destroy the other cars on the field, while trying to stay alive on the track. The sense of speed in the game feels great, especially that there are some ramps along the track. The weapons you use in the game are determined by which power ups you pick up on the track. The weapons range from simple miniguns to rocket launchers. However, destroying your enemies just slows them down, in theory, but it always seems that they somehow manage to catch up to you and shoot you down. The controls, for me, seem responsive and I really love the graphics of this game, especially in moments like when a skyscraper comes crashing down.
