Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall is the sequel to World of Aden: Thunderscape, and is also an action role-playing game developed in 1995 by Strategic Simulations Inc. Your play as Warrick, and the action takes place in a fictional world, the island of Phoros, where he has to solve a mission that implies saving a land from plague. The quality of life in the island has decreased a lot because of the disappearance of some creatures named "jagtera". During your exploration in places like caves and caverns, and while solving puzzles, Warrick has to interact with inhabitans of the island, collect useful items, search for clues, and has to survive from enemies attacks. The game contains magic because your character is able to cast spells, after he learns them. You control the battles with the mouse, aiming your pointer to an enemy and clicking on it, at which Warrick will begin punching and defending himself. The end of the game comes with a transformation of Warrick into a jagtera, but this morphing is influenced by his actions throughout the game. For those who hate insects and find the bugs repulsive, remember that this game is full of this kind of ugly stuff, in a place where Raid isn't at your disposal. Ha ha!
I love this game because it includes some tricky puzzles that require skilled problem-solving to move on. There are lots of unexpected battles with the plague bettles that keep the game exciting. Not there is a lot of walking involved as you explore the world as the hero.
