Question time

This little quiz game lacks much in the way of visual flash and bang but if you're a trivia fan who likes to find out just how much useless knowledge is stored in your brain, then this will be right up your alley. It's best played with friends, as these things usually are, but even when played alone, it remains an enjoyable time waster, thanks to the mix and range of questions on display here. Your first choice is at which level to play, with more points but less thinking time available for the higher difficulties and then it's on to the meat and potatoes of the game. There are ten categories of question available, including the familiar likes of history, sport, entertainment, music and geography, so followers of Trivial Pursuit should be right at home here. The questions themselves are well varied and generally quite challenging, although there is a nice mix of friendlier posers as well as trickier ones which will really have you scratching your head. Bonus questions also pop up every now and then, and when you've finished ten questions from each category, you're awarded a score and possibly even a printable diploma. As long as you don't go in here expecting a board game- or gameshow-style experience, like Wheel of Fortune, then you should have some fun here. There really is nothing to it except question after question, so visuals are minimal but on the terms that the game sets itself, it is undeniably successful. The questions are varied and interesting, so if you have a few minutes to see what's floating around inside your head, take a look here.
