Depth in variety
It is a good football manager game which has a great depth in terms of the variety of strategic and role play elements. It involves 12 different leagues of 5 different countries and each league has a turn of events and is based on a well drafted and systematic schedule. The game also a huge database of around 7500 players and every player in the game has its own set of skills which can be customized. The most exciting feature of the game is the stadium editor which allows you to build a good variety of stadiums for different matches or venues. The stadium building elements comprises of 300 different set of blocks and you can use them in a variety of combination to give a unique look to every stadium. As a manager, you have to train your team to enhance their skills or can recruit new talent. Similarly you have to devise a strategy for positioning and playing style on the field and everything will work out according to your style. The graphics in the game are also good and the A1 is quite interactive and brilliant. The controls are also smooth and the flow with the gameplay. FIFA Soccer 2002 is a sequel to this game and is exceedingly better.
