Genewars is one of the most original real-time strategy
I have ever played. While most RTS games focus on base building, troop training and eliminating enemy troops and bases, this one is a different story. It's a lot different than from any of the RTS games
we know and love, but this difference is quite good and makes it stand out from the crowd. In the game, you have to through a series of world with the help of sentient humanoids to build bases and train units. What makes this game stand out is that you have to stun, kill, research and breed a variety of animals. You can also grow various plants in the game. Now maybe this doesn't make the game so original, but I haven't finished yet. With the help of the animal and species, and also hybrid animals
, to use as units. You can take two animals and breed it into one. Now, please tell me, in what other game can you this sort of thing? I'll tell you: NONE! There is no overall story, at least I haven't found any, but this does not ruin the game, because it's one of those game that have no story and still manage to become great games. All in all, Genewars
, a little bit like Earth 2150
, brings new and original elements into the mix, making this game shine as a great game!
