I've Waited 20 Years For This

This is the game that I've been waiting twenty years for. Ghostbusters was one of the first movies I ever saw and it made me interested in both science and engineering, and fantasy and the paranormal. There have been a few attempts at making Ghostbusters games over the years, but mostly on old consoles that didn't have the power, or programmers didn't have the ingenuity, to properly make one. There were mods for Doom to create proton packs. Half-Life had a weapon called the "Egon". The PC had one of the best with Ghostbusters II. This new game has an original story written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, it was originally going to be the plot for Ghostbusters III, with the ghost world intruding on the real world. The main cast returns. It also brings back Slimer in the Segewick hotel, and a battle with Mr Stay Pufft. You get to play with all the normal equipment, like the PKE Meter, Ecto-Goggles, the trap, Proton Pack, and Slime Blower. This is not just a Ghostbusters skin or mod that was thrown onto another game type. This is something entirely new. The game requires you to weaken ghosts, and wrangle them into a trap. (There's also an amusing rolling dollar meter that rises as you incur property damage to the city) It's a real Ghostbusters game, it's what fans have been waiting for. As a fan, a huge fan, ever since the beginning, you will not be disappointed.
