Nothing Special
Grand Theft Auto was the very first sandbox game that I have ever played. When the series leaped into the third dimension things got better and better. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same to GTA: Liberty City Stories. I have expected this game to be a mix between two great GTA games: GTA 3 and GTA: San Andreas. I even expected that GTA: LCS to be superior to these to games. But I got easily disappointed. First of all, the graphics are basically the same line in GTA III. The level is the same, but it no surprise, because it has to take place in Liberty City. But two things made me hate this game a lot: the ability to climb over walls and to swim in water. Instead, water kills you like in the previous game, except in San Andreas, where you WERE able to swim. They didn't have the decency to even include airplanes. Really Rockstar? REALLY?!Instead we are now able to ride motorbikes. That's it. That's the whole thing that make this game different than GTA III. It's nothing special apart in other games. It has TOO much in common with previous installments. In conclusion, if you're a hardcore GTA fan, stay away from this game. You're better off either GTA: San Andreas, GTA IV or the upcoming GTA V.
