Become a leader of mighty heroes!

Heroes of Might and Magic is the game that started one hell of a franchise. King's Bounty- often labeled as the predecessor to the Heroes of Might and Magic Series - did much of the work for setting the foundation of gameplay and storytelling, with Heroes of Might and Magic being the culmination of all of their experience put together into one perspicuous product geared toward the CRPG player. Heroes of Might and Magic, released in 1995, is a turn based strategy game wherein the story of Lord Morglin Ironfist unfolds. As you play through the game you best monsters and human foes alike, conquering castles and building up your forces to best the usurper Ragnar. Though the story elements are relatively thin and the production values are below par, this is by no means a bad game. It's a wonderful strategy game that will take many hours to complete. There is something inside of this game for any strategy gamer. If you have the chance and love a good medieval fantasy quest it would behoove you to take a look at this game and give it a try. You don't know what you're missing.

The first Heroes of Might and Magic

Heroes of Might and Magic (aka HOMM) is a very successful turn strategy game saga, developed in the middle of nineties. It's a mix between a pure strategy game and a role game with great elements of fantasy. The environment is the middle age, where wizards and magics play a very important role. You will start from your castle and move your units along the land, fighting in battle against your opponents. The castle will build improvements and new unit to defeat the other players (like Civilization style). The following one, Heroes of Might and Magic 2, is even better as quality of graphics, even the concept remain the same (you must play both!).
