The Might and Magic series is considered to be a classic RPG series. Even though Might and Magic 3 is my personal favorite in the series, the sequel, Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen has changed that. Even though it almost plays the same as the prequel, the overall storyline is what made this game my new personal favorite in the series. The game focuses on the events that had occurred after M&M 3. Trouble is stirring on the Nacelle world of Xeen. A mysterious villain by the name of Lord Xeen has claimed ownership of the land and is unleashing havoc throughout the Nacelle. A new band of adventurers must be formed to stop him and save the Land of Xeen. It's a bit disappointing that you don't play with the characters from the previous game, but new ones don't disappoint. The gameplay is basically the same like in M&M 3, so there's not much to comment here. The graphics are a bit improved and sound is a little bit better. The overall world where you roam is interesting enough for you to go exploring. In conclusion, Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen is a must-have for any fan of Might and Magic.
