Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi

Action 2003 Windows 1C Company Horror 3D action adventure Shooter Adventure Fpp First person shooter

Slay the beast!

If you like your games action packed and full of gore and scares, then Nosferatu is going to be right up your street. It's not quite as good as the classic shooters Hexen and Heretic but it's still pretty good and delivers the right amount of shocks and thrills. You find yourself in the unenviable position of having to enter a creepy old Romanian castle in order to save your family from the vicious clutches of a vampire who has something rather unpleasant in mind for your loved ones. It all starts out slowly enough but things soon get creepy and scary as you start to figure out what exactly is going on, with violence rearing its ugly head soon after entering the castle. Your basic goal is to save all your family but in a nice twist that adds a lot of pressure, you have to do it before midnight, making the whole thing a nightmarish race against time. There are plenty of weird beasties roaming around the castle, all of which need to be slayed with extreme prejudice and in another interesting spin, the whole castle is randomly generated, making each playthrough completely different. As far as horror actioners go, this is pretty solid stuff. The visuals are wonderfully atmospheric, with a genuinely unsettling mood and plenty of shocks and scares to experience, while the action itself is intense an exhilarating, just the way a good horror game should be. The story too is quite involving, while the time limit adds an extra dimension to proceedings which really ups the stakes. You have some cool weapons to use on some impressively designed monsters so all in all, if you're after a good horror adventure, you can't go far wrong with this one.

Transylvania legends

Nosferatu is a horror game that takes place in Transylvania. The main goal in this game is saving your family in one and a half hours (not that easy-your family is made from 12 members), each time the game randoms so there aren't any walkthroughs. The game is scary as hell. Tip: if you want to play this game turn on the sound, if there is something inside the room you enter the background sound will change-and always look behind you when you enter in a room...
