Creepy

Ah, yes. Sierra is one popular company that brought us such classic adventure games, like the King's Quest series and the Leisure Suit Larry series as well, just to name a few. There are some other games made by Sierra, some good some bad, but I will not mention them. But did Sierra ever make horror themed games? Well, the only horror game I can think about and have ever played it Shivers 2: Harvest of Souls. When I first saw the title, I have thought of all the bizzare things that can happen in this game. Well, I wasn't disappointed, but the game didn't have the charm like other such games, like Phantasmagoria, had. But it's still a good game and I have never had moments when I started hating it. The story starts at a hotel, with a not very friendly clerk over who gives you a message and the key to your room and also wants you out first thing in the morning. From here, the game is non-linear because you have the liberty to explore the town at your leisure. THe gameplay is just a point-and-click game, from a first person perspective. While the graphics aren't that good, the voice acting is a bit cheasy and sometimes feels delayed. Not even the subtitles are well synched. Overall, Shivers 2 is a good game, but nothing special from other horror adventure games.
