Stick it to the Man! is a hard game to describe. It's a strange mix of point-and-click adventuring, platforming and puzzling and although such a hybrid could have been a bit of a mess, it actually turns out to a wonderfully entertaining experience. The story finds you in control of Ray, who wakes up one day to find a pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his head and which gives him amazing mind reading powers. Suddenly he finds himself to change his flat world of paper by tearing it, folding it and adding crazy stickers to it to make it even more interesting. The gameplay is a mix of platforming and puzzle solving, as you explore a truly bonkers world and use your pink arm to solve the various challenges which get in your way. You can use it in several ways, like grabbing thoughts from people's minds or just picking up objects and using them in inventive ways, and it's this variety which is at the core of the game's appeal. However, it's also backed up by some genuinely fantastic humor, which is frequently laugh-out loud and which only serves to add to the entertainment value. The visuals are splendidly original, with some fantastic character and environmental design which really stand out from the crowd and which again serve to elevate the game over its rivals. The gameplay is rarely less than inventive and enjoyable, with some clever puzzles to solve, although they aren't that difficult, while the whole thing is quite short and won't take long to complete. Apart from this though, this is a great little game.
