A Great Port

There are a lot of head-to-head fighting games nowadays that I have a hard time choosing one to play. However, I personally consider the old arcade versions more because those were more fun and you didn't need a friend to play with. At the arcade, you could always ask another kid there if he wants to play with you. In short, Super Street Fighter 2. The arcade game was so great that I have spent at least two hours at the arcade when I was in vacation with parents. Never had I thought that there was a port to the MS-DOS of the game. I first discovered it when I've got my second computer. I've played the port for hours and never wanted to give up the game. Unlike Mortal Kombat, this game has zero blood, no finishing moves and felt much more fast paced. In Super Street Figther 2, you have a choice of characters and you fight the other ones. Each character has its own special moves, one of the most ones had gotta be the Hadouken. You can play a some of story mode and versus mode either against the computer or a friend. The controls are excellent and don't feel delayed, especially that this is a fast paced fighting game. The graphics are outstanding for DOS standards, but the music is a bit lame but it's acceptable. I've heard much worse. In conclusion, Super Street Fighter 2 is one of the best ports of a classic arcade over to the MS DOS. It's beautiful, it plays well and it's worth adding to your game collection.
