Wreck your keyboard and type for your survival!
The Typing of the Dead: Overkill is a great game full of humor, that belongs to the popular House of the Dead series. It focuses on the typing mechanism, so it's perfect for those that want something innovative and original when it comes to defeating enemies. So, to be clear, the gameplay is based on typing letters, words, or sentences , in order to kill zombies very fast. I was used to kill enemies by using the mouse, and the shooting system, and I admit this game was a whole new exciting experience for me! In The Typing of the Dead: Overkill your gun is the keyboard, and this is more challenging and inventive. So, for those that would like to develop their ability of typing, this is a perfect choice, that makes your learning and training very entertaining. You can build up a combo meter by defeating mutants to gain a score, and this score can be also achieved by performing head-shots, collecting bonuses/pickups (that include health kits, grenades, the slow motion feature and the "Evil Eye" option that annihilates the zombies by shooting at a certain location where they are hidden), saving civilians and shooting without missing, proving your accuracy and talent. The most difficult mode is Hardcore, so if you are a fast typer, this is the perfect mode for your abilities. Test your speed and precision, wreck your keyboard and type for your survival!
