C is for Classic
Whilst picking up where Wizardry VI left off, this installment can easily be played on its own. The characters are free to explore a world filled with fiendish puzzles and devious adversaries. In gameplay it's quite a step up from its predecessor. W7, Crusaders of the Dark Savant possibly kept me entertained for longer than most of the other classics in the genre such as Baldur's Gate or Eye of the Beholder. The freedom you can get in the game is phenomenal, where each character can eventually get each profession, skill or class. Outstanding.
