A bland action retelling of Columbus` (stumble) American find!

History has allowed Columbus to get the honors and the laurels for something that he had quite a very little impact on, that is, his discovery of America. But, then again, as it had entered the annals of history and the minds of non-fact-checking pop culture inclined people, the man, Columbus has come to be known as the one that had the first glimpse of America. And, this game celebrates this in a rather dull way. Some of the game is all about sailing, trying to make it to the new fangled continent. The portion is pretty bland, though it has some sparks of action. However, most of it is just smooth (and boring!) sailing into action tid-bits. The rest of the game is no better, though it also doesn't go to much depths of not being a serious game. Not at all, Discovery, as far as the recipes of lite arcade games go, is alright. But, if you want something that will actually prove much better, graphically, design wise and in terms of how much soul and attention was poured into, you will find Colonization from Sid Mayer a much better alternative to download. Discovery is an unremarkable discovery, to be pretty frank and it was so for a lack of trying, which adds insult to the injury. So, there!
