Realistic warbird simulation; pretty neat
F-16 Fighting Falcon is a well produced, always exciting to play simulation game, of the flight and missions that the titular warbird was a part of. It is heavy in simulation, but never a drag to play, mostly because all the elements that make it feel and play well are easy to sink into; the physics work great, the graphics are exceptionally well produced, and more over, the controls are so well balanced. I'd say, with even the least expensive controller, gamepad or joystick, you get this game to behave as you want it to. In terms of missions, you get quite a handful; there is aerial combat, dogfighting, there are loads of air to air and air to ground missions, aerial and terrestrial support missions and much more. Thus, you get a slice of everything that you might expect or want from a game such as this one, plus a good load of extras that just add a lot to the finished product. So, if you love games such as the Microsoft Flight series, like their straightforwardness and ease of play, F-16 Fighting Falcon will sink eight in that category, while also upping the ante in terms of aerial fighting and more. Make sure you have F-16 Fighting Falcon in your collection if you're serious about aerial combat and flight simulation.
Advisable for the thrill-seekers
F-16 Fighting Falcon is a flight simulation game released in 1996 by Digital Integration. Well, at that time, the game industry was embattled by various and numerous flight simulators, each more complex than another. This is because people were very attracted, and they still are, by these airplanes that fly at supersonic speed. This game fulfills your wish to be a pilot, by controlling a F-16, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful world from a height of about 10000 meters. F-16 airplanes are capable to carry enough weaponry to destroy an entire military unit. Everything is easy to maneuver and your objectives are based on taking off, searching the enemies and throw them down before they get you. About the 3D environment and graphics, the good intention of the producers is noticeable, but they could have worked harder. About the action, everything is as it should be. For the thrill-seekers, the action offers them a genuine experience for their taste. The missions will take place in locations like Israel, Korea and Cyprus. I have to admit, I was always confusing the enemy aircrafts with those from my army. So, be careful, and think before you shoot! At first, the landing may seem difficult, but as you proceed you will get along with the controls, and finally, your performance will be great. Have fun!
