Infiltrator 2

Action 1988 Dos Dosbox Mindscape Puzzle based Role playing

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; not the best spy game out there...

Infiltrator 2 is played as an adventure, or rather, as a third person fixed view action game, whatever you want to call it. Because it has some low level tactics in there, occasionally, you might also call it a ground level military simulation game, but that is not where its heart resides. Nope, a lot more of it is just action, delivered so minimalist that at times, you'll play it as a puzzler game, with only a few moves making sense at any given point. So, with all that in mind, I'd say that Infiltrator 2 is worth it only if you want an older Police Quest like, but with less of the story and puzzles (classical adventure puzzles) and more of the action. It also suffers from the ailments of games this old, and by that I mean too many interface elements and controls, and given that the game is not that long, I don't know how many of you would think this to be worth the time. At any rate, it's playable. Similarly so is Infiltrator the first, which I also worth a gendering eye, for the same reasons as this one.
