Snoopy & Peanuts

Adventure 1989 Dos Dosbox Edge Software Third Person Cartoon

Snoopy has to find a special blanket! Help him out!

You can't but love Snoopy, the beagle dog that had always been a smart, good looking and very resourceful friend for his master. But his master is nowhere near as attentive as his dog, and, yet again, he has managed to misplace one if his treasured possessions, a special blanket. So, you have to go on a journey to find it. It's going to be a cool adventure, around the house and beyond, which also has a bit of an edutainment edge to it, since you can learn the name of objects, a bit about logic and even some math doing it. It's a very cute, very cartoony game, for kids, adolescents and all those that love a cool, simple collection of puzzles. Plus, Snoopy is as cute as he had ever been, and will always have a nice animation for you and a cool way of solving the puzzles. Other than that, Snoopy & Peanuts offers you a graphical set-up that is alright looking, in traditional third person, the kind used in adventure games, with good colors and an easy to control interface. Similarly, Snoopy, the first adventure game featuring the black and white beagle is just as cool a game, so download that one too.

Snoopy`s first ever adventure game!

I guess you could easily dismiss this as a shallow attempt to do some publicity for the animated series, but, for all intents and purposes, this game here represents really well the really relaxed manner in which Snoopy the dog goes about his day! Thus, there are no real issues here, to talk about, rather that you will have to get yourself attuned to a rather mellow game that best describes how Snoopy himself carries himself in the world! Also, the game is great graphically, as it is a very accurate 8bit like representation of the cartoons, which is just lovely. The text bubbles of Snoopy are also rather amusing and graphically attuned to a comic strip, while the architecture is very much in the style of the animated series. So, yeah, it's great, relaxing, a bit shallower than many will like, but for children it will surely feel like a much deserved treat. So do try it, if you've ever seen a snoopy cartoon or had any of the merchandise with him, without even knowing what it's for. The game surely could have been more involving, but well, for a first try it's not the worse. But if you'd like a cartoony adventure, similar but better, see Inspector Gadget, lots more alert and more fun!
