Cheesy full motion game

Voyeur originally released by Interplay on MS-DOS and designed for the failed Phillips CD-I console. The game contains no explicit scenes or any crude scenes, altough the name may indicate. Voyeur is a full motion video game, that were very popular in the early 90's similar gameplay to Night Trap on the Sega CD. Presumably you play the game as a reporter or a political detective. You must spy on the family of a corrupt politician who is going to be the next U.S president. You are trying to stop a murder from happening by the end of the weekend, by informing the family member or police. You peer from a room across from the president's manion through binoculars and spy on their conversations, audio and visual. There are a lot of dark secrets this family has and it is often so absurd it is actually quite funny. The game is meant to be some sort of loose adult parody on American politics for example the presidents daughter has a Japanese boyfriend that is an eco-terrorist. I found that amusing. The acting is not too bad either, considering it is for a 1990's CD-ROM game. The game is over in 45 minutes, (within the weekend ending in the game) however it does have some replay value considering you can play the game with various different endings and scenes. The sequel Voyeur II, is a lot more graphic.
