Win Some Gold!
I wonder how long do the olympic games last. It's not because I hate them, but it seems to go on and on and on. While some events are quite interesting, however, at other events I don't get the logic of the scoring, like at gymnastics. Yesterday, my home country has scored another medal, but only silver. I have been tryinng to enjoy some video games based on earlier olympic games, but I didn't quite enjoy them. While the ones that are arcade style are fun, they don't really make you feel like you're at the event. Luckily, there's one game out there that changes that. And that game my friends is Athens 2004. After playing other olympic games, I really didn't have an expectations, but rather disappointments. Luckily, this game offered me fun and really made feel like I'm watching an olympic games. The gameplay is solid, because there are some sections where they explain or at least show, how to play at different events. However, one great feature in the game that I have found is the inclusion of commentators, which is a nice touch. The events are the ones that we all saw 8 years ago at Athens. The graphics in the game are splendid and the weight lifting event, I have spotted some facial expression on the athletes' faces. Overall, Athens 2004 offers a great time if you want to experience the olympic from 2004 on your PC or PS2. It's a must buy and must have!
