Using The Same Engine

Blake Stone: Alien of Gold is a first person shooter created by JAM Production, who also made Blake Stone: Planet Strike, and published by Apogee Software. The game has a strong resemblance to Wolfenstein 3D. Come to think of it, the games both use the same engine, however Blake Stone adds new features. One of these features is that you have to search for some informant that will give you items. But finding is more like a guessing game. There disguised as scientists, but if you go to other scientists, nothing really happens. The story if original: Robert Wills Stone III (a.k.a. Blake Stone) is an agent of the British Intelligence, recruited after a highly successful career in the British Royal Navy. His first major case is to investigate and eliminate the threat of Dr. Pyrus Goldfire, a brilliant scientist in the field of genetics and biology, known for his outright disrespect of professional ethics. In terms of gameplay, other than the new features that this game offers, the game plays and feels just like Wolfenstein 3D. The sound, on the other hand, is much better here and the things that enemies have to say is much more clear. Overall, Blake Stone: Alien of Gold is a great FPS game for DOS and if you ever happen to stumble upon it, go ahead and download the game and play it!
