Dark Reign: The Future of War download

Dark Reign: The Future of War is a real-time strategy video game developed by Auran, who also developed the Trainz games, and published by Activision. This is the very first RTS game I've ever played. It really captivated me, but unfortunately I haven't played it for long, because I was playing it at friend of mine, during a visit. I have finally saw it on a website, downloaded it, played it and enjoyed it a lot. The game takes place in the distant future. The player takes the role of a survivor of a faction of humans known as the Tograns, whose society was decimated after their homeworld became engulfed in the civil war between the Freedom Guard and the Imperium . As one of the last remaining Tograns that set off in hopes they might find a new refuge to rebuild and carry on the words of Alpheus Togra, the player is presented with an opportunity to go back through time and prevent the death of the founder. The gameplay is typical, like in any RTS game: you build a base, build an army and complete certain objectives. It is the game's story alone that determined me to keep playing. The grahics are okay and the style reminds me of Tiberian Sun. The sounds are outstanding. Overall, Dark Reign is a great sci-fi RTS game and everyone who stumbles upon it, should consider giving it a try.
