If you've ever found yourself contemplating about the variety of solitaire games that could come to be, well, Hoyle Official Book of Games Volume 2: Solitaire offers you a good estimate: 26! Yep, it's all based on the vanilla solitaire experience, but, you'd be amazed to see how many variations can be made to happen just by mingling but a few different ideas around. The game offers you a few different visual themes as well, that is backgrounds and card decks, but mostly, the variety is to be found in terms of gameplay. So, ultimately, Hoyle Official Book of Games Volume 2: Solitaire is a game that is best suited for Solitaire fanatics, that love the vanilla draw 1/draw 3 game but want to add a little bit more flavor to that basic idea. The challenges though, unfortunately can't be said to be hard, for those hardcore players that would have been interested in the game, come to think of it; nope, most of the variations are pretty lax, and, though you can impose time limits on your, for instance, that still doesn't manage to add to the difficulty factor. But, definitely, it's a worthwhile game in any Solitaire fantastic's collection. Also, the Hoyle collection of games bundles are also pretty fun, even when not so focused on one single gameplay, so try some others.
