King's Quest 3 - To Heir is Human

Adventure 1986 Dos Dosbox Sierra Graphical IF Medieval

Adenture has no limits with this game

This whole series is nothing but very interesting and exciting puzzles which give you a brainstorming experience. Before you play this one, I would recommend you to try some of the previous versions to get a better idea about how it goes. Before starting the game, you should read out the complete guide to know how to go about things and what are the dynamics that are involved here. Your ultimate target in the game is to kill the wizard who has being doing his evil activities. This time they have added some more interesting venues and puzzles and have made the plot even more interesting and creative. Those who have been into the previous version will really enjoy this one because they have designed a user friendly interface and have incorporated very good graphics throughout the game. The gameplay is also smooth and is a quick one where you have to think in a speedy manner and make the right moves. This adventure game will fascinate you by all means because not only it has good graphics and gameplay, but also supports a fine interface which is really helpful. The music is not great but the game is overall exciting and indulging like the case of King's Quest 4.

Difficulty Setting 11

Be warned, before playing this game, you will die, a lot. Then you'll decide to look up a guide online. Save yourself some trouble and look up the guide in the beginning, at least until you can beat the evil wizard. This is the hardest game in the King's Quest series with the most difficult puzzles. Don't let this be your introduction to the series. I'd recommend King's Quest six and go back in time from there to five, then either one or number four, next two. Save three for last, unless you're playing one of the fan remakes. The original version is one of the last to use the text interface where you have to directly type out what you want to do. This can be very problematic if you use the wrong word and it isn't recognized, or if you're not a native English speaker. Overall, it's a nice small side story that fills in some gaps to Daventry's royal family. This game is only for the most hardcore of King's Quest fans. Unlike King's Quest eight, this game actually does have some ties to the rest of the series.
