Edutainment title, lite, a bit too shoddy...
Richard Scarry's Busytown could have been a good edutainment, as it manages to pout into the recipe a lot of math puzzles, quite a few other activities that will teach a young one about the jobs of policemen, firemen and teachers as well. But, unfortunately, the game, as cute as it is, it kind of gets in the way of its own minigames. It does that just because the game proper is styled and delivered scarcely. Yes, it's not the animations or the graphics, or any other element, it's the very nature of the combination of those elements. Too much clutter, if you will, and too few interesting and meaningful interactions. Graphically, like I said, the game is extra cartoonish, which is by no means a bad thing, but it could have been a bit more polished. Anyway, expect seesaw like mini puzzles, fire station inspired puzzles, house building (block building) helping a doctor styled puzzle and a few other. Try it, but think not that it will replace your trusty Super Solvers; it won't, but it offers enough distraction to see a few tens of minutes occupied.
