A great perspective of the SimCity game

SimCopter is a very nice game from the SimCity world that lets you get reacquainted with your city from the air view (much like Streets of Sim City, which lets you explore it in your car). You play a helicopter pilot that has the job of saving people from roofs of burning buildings or regulating the air traffic, and you get paid for it. The good thing is that you don't need a copy of SimCity 2000 to play the game, since it comes with 30 of its own cities. But, if you do happen to have the game, you can load any game in the SimCopter game and explore it via air. You can go from city to city that are more difficult than the other, or you can choose to visit a city in the same difficulty. You start from the simplest chopper and work your way up to get the best ones. The game is very interesting and fun to play - definitely a great perspective of the very famous SimCity game. Graphically, the game is good, but not perfect, but this is a one of those games where that is not that important. The soundtrack of the game is also very good and catchy. The game will be a real treat for both Sim fans and flying game fans, since it will fulfill both of your needs. I definitely recommend the game.

Quick-paced, rapid-fire game

The graphics haven't aged well, but the core game is solid. Buzz around the metropolis and help the authorities de-jam traffic, rescue capsized boaters, save medical evacuees, catch criminals, put out fires, and escort the mayor to seedy motels. All in a day's work. The controls take a little getting used to, but as you go up in the world, you get better helicopters that fly like a dream. There's no overarching story, but it would probably just distract from a quick-paced, rapid-fire game.
