Nice try

With the great success of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Konami tried to use the game and make another one like a side scroller platform game and I can't say that they were very successful at it. You play as one of the Turtles, go from one end of the level to the other and kill enemies. Simple as that. Since the Turtles eat pizza, the pizza in the game is your health and you can pick it up if you're low on energy. While on the first look it may seem cool and fun, after a while of playing all the inconsistencies start to show - the animation is not very good and you can hack and slash at the enemy not really hitting him, so only one slash out of three will really get him. The level designs are good but kind of repetitive and monotonous, so after a while you will probably get bored of the game and turn it off. The enemies have different colors of costumes, but they are more or less just the same people every level. The graphics are okay, nothing spectacular, and the sound effects are authentic and good. While the game will be interesting for a while, it doesn't provide any replay value and will soon be long forgotten. The third game, Manhattan Project, is a lot better.
