Old and gimmicky motorcycle racer; interesting production wise
Sito Pons 500cc Grand Prix is interesting less because of the gaming experience that it provides, but rather because of the way it worked around the limitations that were self imposed, due to the technology of the time (the game was initially released on the ZX Spectrum and the other range of home computers). It's, thus, a pretty limited game, and yet it is still playable; you control your motorcycle seen from above, and the tracks are produced isometrically; you see a very small portion of what's ahead of you, and this counteracts the fact that the top speeds are rather limited; because you can't really see too long ahead you always risk going out the track, if you don't try and memorize the tracks. There are 14 tracks to run within, so if the presentation is to your liking, Sito Pons 500cc Grand Prix will keep you involved for quite a while. Similarly, download Motocross, no longer a speed motorcycle racer, but rather a trick and dirt track monster! Both old and sweet, for retro aficionados!
