Winter sports pack that gets most things right
In The Games: Winter Challenge you get a bundle that is both highly playable as well as really polished and enjoyable. You've got downhill slalom, you've got jumping, you've got a few other classics as well. The game manages to create experiences that use a sort of primitive 3d, combining both static images with actually 3D environments, with the sprites representing your character. Yeah, it's a bit gimmicky, but the end result is playable, not too bad and also, relatively alright in terms of the amount of detail that the developers manage to include in the game. What you might feel that is lacking, is a more diverse set of games in the bundle, but, well, I was rather happy with the assortment. After all, instead of tens of minigames, where none is actually worth its salt, this one at least works great and manages to create a proper fun experience. Try Games: Winter Edition for a more diverse set of minigames, this time in 2D, if you're looking for a more diverse seasonal thrill! Though, surely even this game can treat you with a few surprisingly good sessions.
