Carmen Sandiego, poised to teach you USA geography

Another edutainment suite in the famed Carmen Sandiego series, this game is a bit more restricted in scope. If most of her misadventures took her on a tour across the world, this time Carmen is hiding in America. Yes, she is still a woman running from the player's network of secret agents, and she is still the reason why generation of preschool or school children know what the capital of Italy is, today! In terms of presentation, the game is very much alike other games in the series. You get a big map, this time of America and you will have to trek through each of the USA states. This will teach you their names, important info about them and other important, good to know info. Due to the rather limited scope of this game, some might not find it as pleasing, but, even today, I feel that USA children should not miss this one. The cartoony, never too serious brand of adventures that Carmen put forth is the quintessential edutainment game of the 90s and it sure is worth a visit. So, pay your homage, especially if you are a USA lover of adventures or want to present a good edutainment suite to your child.
