Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine

Action 1994 Dos Dosbox BMG Interactive First Person Science Fiction

Boring and repetitive. Nice visuals though

Loadstar is a game that could be oh so much better, but regrettably, it doesn't. You start the game on your freighter set in space and you are a cargo delivery boy. Just as you were about to retire from the entire business, you get one last chance to make the big bucks, and of course, you can't refuse such an offer. The game is a typical rail shooter game in which you drive on a railroad to your destination and shoot the drones and the police that are at your tail, because, of course, you are running from the law. That's about all that is about the game. Just shooting the same old enemies over and over and over again until you call it quits a few minutes later and uninstall the game forever. The real live actors that are in the game are quite convincing and credible and the graphics are really nice and detailed, but that's about the only good thing about this repetitive game. If you want a good rail shooter, get Novastorm and leave this game alone, like it deserves.
