Legend of Zelda has got to be one of the most popular titles of the adventure genre in history. Just mention the word "Link" or get a picture with a little green cap and everybody gets the hint. The legend of Zelda has marked the gaming world and even now, more than 20 years later, the game has a huge influence on the gaming community. So, what's the game about? The game is set in a kingdom in a fictional world of Hyrule. The archenemy Ganon, The Prince of Darkness has stolen an important artifact, the Triforce of power and means to use it to take over the world. In the efforts of prevent Ganon to make his evil plan come true, The Princess Zelda has taken another equally important arifact, the Triforce of Wisdom, and divided it into eight pieces, after which she hid those parts all over the kingdom. Our hero Link is set on finding the eight pieces and saving the Princess who has been kidnapped. To do this, he must explore eight caverns, destroy vicious monsters and get the pieces together to save the world and his princess. Legend of Zelda is very easy to play and is filled with a beautiful atmosphere and deep character development that will make every player love the game to his grave. The graphics are also great for that time. There is a reason the Legend of Zelda has become the king of adventure games. It's beautiful, brings emotions, fun and definitely makes your time worthwhile. Whoever hasn't never heard or played it, I urge them go and try this timeless classic.

The Legend Of Zelda is one of the best games ever made, and is still just as playable and fun now, as it was back when it first came out in the 1980's. No matter if you play this version, or the NES version on either original console or emulator, you will never be disappointed with this game.
