Postal

Action 1997 Windows Ripcord Games Shooter Isometric Indie

Two words - killing spree

This shooter game is actually nothing more than a simple massacre. There is not much to say about the game's plot, because it's not very relevant. This is a game for the blood thirsty - you go around town and shoot people that you see. Nothing more, nothing less. Of course, not everybody likes you serial killing rampage, and they try to stop you any way you can. To prevent them from doing this, you have to kill them first. The official objective of the game is to kill a certain percent of armed NPC in order to reach the next level. Your primary weapon is a machine gun with unlimited ammo and other weapons with a limited amount of ammo you find along the way. The game's graphics are in 3D with an isometric view. I don't think much about the game, since it has no depth and I find it a tad too much violent for my taste, but if you like bloody games with a lot of violence and zero brain activity, this just might be the game for you. For more fun, play the sequel, Postal 2.

Isometric Action game

The game that you're going to download, Postal, is an Isometric Action game released by Running with Scissors in 1997. The purpose of this game is to run around and shoot anyone that moves. But there's bad guys trying to stop your massacre, and you have to shoot them first. There is a level editor, but it sucks. Saving games is a pain in the ass unless you are running it on an authentic windows 95/98. The best part about postal is the multiplayer. I've only done it a few times with only 2 players, but I imagine 4 would be great. Only download this game if you have friends to play it with. If you don't, just pass it, because it's a boring experimental game.
