Far better than the original

The first game didn't get much love from the community mostly because it was poorly adapted amongst consoles, but they tried to make up for it by making the second game, Buried in time. This time around we get a radically changed, but better game than before. Our hero now has a name (Gage Blackwood) and a personality, something the prior game was definitely lacking. The game also features greatly improved graphics and seamless animation as well as many live-action sequences. As for the story, it's got "time travel action movie" all over it - 6month months after the events of the first game, Gage Blackwood is visited by himself from ten years in the future. Someone has framed the future Gage for tampering with historical artifacts and it is up to the past Gage to visit the past and find evidence to clear his name. The game plays smoothly enough, but the major objection I have to make is that the view window is far to small, which minorizes the game's enjoyment. There are plenty of sights to see and things to do, so don't worry about getting bored,in fact, the game can get pretty addictive after a while. This time Presto has done a far better job before and gave us a game that we can actually enjoy. Just don't forget the patch the game, since the original version has some serious bugs. Have a good time, and after you're finished with this game, try the game's third installment, Legacy of Time.
